Directed Energy 1Mw System

The platform would sit in lunar orbit, and station keep above critical assets on the surface, like astronaut quarters, bases, and mining outposts - thereby vaporizing/deflecting any inbound threat and protecting the on-world assets.

Big problems require big solutions. Bifröst platform is 14m long, and 7m wide with the radiators and solar panel system folded away.

Upon deployment into final orbit, the system would unfurl the solar panels to the full extent of 30m in radius from the laser core, providing just over 1Mw of energy.

Further uses of Bifröst could be the clean-up of man-made debris Low Earth Orbit, via direct vaporization or redirection into the atmosphere.

Under development.

BIFRÖST:

$500bn

Worth of projected Lunar surface assets, mines, and settlements.

WE PROTECT

5-20cm

Meteoroids are vaporised within seconds by Bifröst's 1Mw energy beam.

~1400+

5-20cm meteors hit the Moon every year, each with the force of a hand grenade.

Astronauts on the Moon from deadly meteorite impacts.
